During Jan-Dec 2015, India has a total import of US $ 233.8 Million from Uganda.The top products imported from Uganda are MEDICAMENTS OF MIXED OR UNMIXED PRODUCTS, FOR RETAIL SALE , UNWROUGHT ZINC , INSECTICIDES, RODENTICIDES... AND SIMILAR PRODUCTS, FOR RETAIL SALE , OTHER PLATES, SHEETS, FILM, FOIL AND STRIP, OF PLASTICS, NOT REINFORCED, ETC , MICROPHONES,HEADPHONES,EARPHONES,SPEAKERS SETS,ELECTRIC AMPLIFIERS ETC. which is 43.32% , 4.33% , 2.91% , 2.18% , 2.18% . of the total imports of these products to India respectively.

The major import trading port of India’s import trade from Uganda are Jnpt, Bombay Air, Ahmedabad Icd, Nashik-janori Icd, Kandla-sez contributing about 67.15 % of the total imports from Uganda.

In the year 2015, the import value of MEDICAMENTS OF MIXED OR UNMIXED PRODUCTS, FOR RETAIL SALE was US$ 101.3 Million as compare to 2014 which was US$ 81.8 Million, which is a increase of 55.314% and UNWROUGHT ZINC was of US$ 10.1 Million as compared to US$ 13.1 Million in 2014, which is a increase of 43.645% .
