During Jan-Dec 2015, India has a total import of US $ 1.4 Billion from Taiwan.The top products imported from Taiwan are PETROLEUM OILS, ETC, (EXCL. CRUDE)/ PREPARATIONS THEREOF, NES , FERRO-ALLOYS , UNWROUGHT ALUMINIUM , UNWROUGHT ZINC , REFINED COPPER AND COPPER ALLOYS,UNWROUGHT which is 24.92% , 7.47% , 4.84% , 4.41% , 3.4% . of the total imports of these products to India respectively.

The major import trading port of India’s import trade from Taiwan are Jnpt, Mangalore Sea, Vizag Sea, Calcutta Sea, Madras Sea contributing about 57.99 % of the total imports from Taiwan.

In the year 2015, the import value of PETROLEUM OILS, ETC, (EXCL. CRUDE)/ PREPARATIONS THEREOF, NES was US$ 346.1 Million as compare to 2014 which was US$ 760.4 Million, which is a increase of 31.275% and FERRO-ALLOYS was of US$ 103.7 Million as compared to US$ 103.7 Million in 2014, which is a increase of 49.996% .
