During Jan-Dec 2015, India has a total import of US $ 120.8 Million from Syria.The top products imported from Syria are RICE , , TABLE,KITCHEN,OTHER HOUSEHOLD ARTICLES,PARTS THEREOF OF IRON OR STEEL , SYNTHETIC FILAMENT YARN, NPRS (INCL. SYNTHETIC MONOFILAMENT) , BLANKETS AND TRAVELLING RUGS which is 14.55% , 6.93% , 6.05% , 5.53% , 4.52% . of the total imports of these products to India respectively.

The major import trading port of India’s import trade from Syria are Jnpt, Mundra, Delhi Tkd Icd, Ludhiana Icd, Panki Icd contributing about 71.61 % of the total imports from Syria.

In the year 2015, the import value of RICE was US$ 17.6 Million as compare to 2014 which was US$ 23.4 Million, which is a increase of 42.927% and was of US$ 8.4 Million as compared to US$ 15.4 Million in 2014, which is a increase of 35.225% .
