During Jan-Dec 2015, India has a total import of US $ 3.2 Billion from Iran.The top products imported from Iran are RICE , FLAT-ROLLED PRODUCTS OF IRON/NON-ALLOY STEEL, OF WIDTH >600MM, HOT-ROLLED , , IRON ORES AND CONCENTRATES, INCLUDING ROASTED IRON PYRITES which is 23.6% , 9.12% , 2.21% , 1.85% . of the total imports of these products to India respectively.

The major import trading port of India’s import trade from Iran are Mundra, Jnpt, Magdalla, Delhi Tkd Icd, Calcutta Sea contributing about 71.15 % of the total imports from Iran.

In the year 2015, the import value of RICE was US$ 757.5 Million as compare to 2014 which was US$ 1.3 Billion, which is a increase of 36.537% and FLAT-ROLLED PRODUCTS OF IRON/NON-ALLOY STEEL, OF WIDTH >600MM, HOT-ROLLED was of US$ 292.9 Million as compared to US$ 222.1 Million in 2014, which is a increase of 56.875% .
